Earlier this year, our file-server for gift-giving took a pounding and all related Mixtape files, public and otherwise, were deleted.

Subsequently, the untimely demise of our mixtapes under the spying eye of SOPA/ PIPA left a bitter taste in our mouths.  And like sucking on one of those super fat sour balls, our faces, strained and grimaced, lingered for a hot minute with nothing much to think about except “Motha fuckers, really? Really?“

Certainly, every label should be adequately compensated but forgive us if I resent the growing disparity between our respective paychecks.  And if we promote the music and support the artists we love to people with like interests and lighter pockets without making a dime off it, then, well, I’m not sorry for it.  

It has always been the intention of this blog and its several pages to merely share and ramble on as to what moves and shakes us whilst flexing a creative muscle and titillating a wandering eye.  There is no money to be had here; no grand conspiracy;  neither leftist nor right-winged social campaigning, save the one where the slogan may read: Music saves because I couldn’t find Jesus.
